I launched Notion Mastery back in 2019 based on accelerated demand for educational material around how to use Notion, the fast-growing “all-in-one” software tool for productivity and team collaboration.
The Notion Mastery course has grown into a community of over 2300 students and 4 full-time employees running the course operations behind the scenes.
We’ve learned a ton of lessons over the years, and continue to iterate on the format, outcomes, and delivery of the course materials. Here’s a sneak peek at our course operations and evolution of the course since we first launched.

Here we’re focused on course management vs course delivery. Notion is not a course delivery platform, though it is excellent for managing all the moving parts of a course.

We use Notion manage all course content:

While we do deliver the Notion Mastery course using Notion, it’s partly due to our unique relationship with the company as Notion Certified Consultants and Ambassadors, and not something that is necessarily a cost effective option for the average user.
Options exist to extend Notion’s functionality for course delivery, but we recommend third party tools with caution.
